Rosatom has decided to start the BN 800 reactor on Christmas Day at 2 pm (Kyrienko will attend the event) ! « The design of this plant was started in 1983 » More info on BN 800 on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BN-800_reactor. According to the article the idea behind this fast neutron reactor is to use military plutonium and « close the fuel cycle ».
