India’s prime minister has appointed the former head of the country’s nuclear agency to be in charge of the national solar mission.
Anil Kakodkar, former head of the Atomic Energy Commission, was named the chairman of the Solar Energy Corporation of India, which was recently set up, reported the India Today newspaper.
