Sinnemäki sees two reactors as effort to sell electricity for export
“Above all, this is a proposal to export nuclear electricity”, said Green League chairwoman, Minister of Labour Anni Sinnemäki on Thursday. She was commenting on the proposal by Minister of Economic Affairs Mauri Pekkarinen (Centre Party) to grant licences for two new nuclear reactors.
“At the same time, Finland takes on the role of a dumping ground for nuclear waste in Europe”, she adds.
