EDF investigating 'quality deviations' in welds at French plant that is the model for Hinkley C

Construction of Britain's first new nuclear power plant in over 20 years has come under fresh scrutiny after problems with welding were found at a similar plant in France.
EDF has discovered "quality deviations" in the welding in pipework of the European pressurised water reactor it is building at Flamanville in Normandy, France.
