Energy Solutions will no longer pursue agreements to dispose of Italian nuclear waste in Utah. The Salt Lake City based company’s Chief Executive Officer Val Christensen told Utah US Representative Jim Matheson’s office of their plans not to store the imported material at the Clive Facility, 75 miles west of metropolitan Salt Lake City in the Tooele Valley.
