UK And Japan Close To Agreeing £15 Billion Investment In Wylfa Newydd, Say Reports



12 Jan 2018 : The governments of the UK and Japan are set to extend a combined £15bn (€16.8bn, $20.4bn) in loans and investment for Horizon’s Wylfa Newydd nuclear power station project in Wales, according to unconfirmed reports in Japanese media.

The reports said the loans would be offered with the help of financial institutions. They also said the UK and Japanese governments will invest billions of pounds, taking on part of Horizon.
