Thorp ‘set to be shut for weeks’

THORP has suffered another massive blow which will shut the Sellafield reprocessing plant for several more weeks at least.
Reprocessing operations have again been suspended after a serious incident which saw a vital piece of equipment break down on Monday.
Sellafield’s operators say there has been no leak or radiation or anything similar to the accident which closed the plant in 2004 for three years and led (...)
