Environmental campaigners are furious over Government plans to make the UK one of the world’s leading nuclear energy users.
John Hutton, secretary of state for business, has announced that private power firms will be able to invest in the first new nuclear reactors to be produced in decades.
But campaigners say it is a dangerous and foolhardy decision.
