Action against censorship with the publishing of EDF official secret document about the EPR,
by the Réseau Sortir du nucléaire and France Greenpeace.

Paris, France — 2006/05/17
We, citizens, organizations, elected representatives, political parties, are solemnly declaring to be in possession of the official secret document of EDF (Electricité de France) dealing with the issue of the EPR’s disability of resisting an airplane crash. The DST (Direction de la surveillance du territoire, French national security service) has made a search of this document on Tuesday, 16th May 2006 at Stéphane Lhomme’s house, spokesman of the Réseau Sortir du nucléaire (France). Stéphane has been kept in police custody for more than 14 hours and the DST has seized various equipment from his house.
We have decided to publish this document on our websites, reviews or other, in order to make this document known by the public and we thus incur 75 000 euros fine and 5 years’ imprisonment. In doing this, we stand up to stop the attacks on the citizens’ right to be informed in our country and to stop opponents’ repression. It is those who hide information to the public who should be prosecuted.
