US Congress approves landmark Indian nuclear deal
WASHINGTON (AFX) - The US Congress early Saturday gave its final approval to landmark legislation allowing export of civilian nuclear fuel and technology to India for the first time in 30 years.
The Senate passed the deal by voice vote during an all-night session. The House of Representatives approved it 330-59 late Friday.
