Nuclear energy : MEPs and experts undecided on 50 years of Euratom Treaty

A mixed assessment of the Euratom Treaty was presented by the European

Parliament’s Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) during a public

hearing on 1 February in Brussels on ’Assessing Euratom - 50 years of European

nuclear policy’. Outside experts ranged from the OECD’s Nuclear Energy Agency,
