Norway atomic research reactor shut by leak

OSLO (Reuters) - A leak shut down a small Norwegian atomic research
reactor on Saturday in what was the worst accident in the plant’s
history, even though no one was hurt and no radiation escaped into the
environment, officials said.
"The reactor was immediately closed," the Norwegian Radiation Protection
Authority said in a statement after the leak, apparently caused by
faulty fuel, at 3 a.m. (0100 GMT). (...)
